Six-step flow

What goes wrong on application forms every cycle?

1. Landing page:Click "New User Register". Enter full name (matching your degree certificate exactly, character by character), email and mobile.
2. OTP screen: Verify the OTPs on both email and mobile. The OTP expires in 10 minutes; if you miss it, click resend rather than restart the registration.
3. Set password: Minimum 8 characters, one uppercase, one digit, one special character. The portal does not allow password reuse across cycles, so a 2025 candidate re-applying for 2027 needs a fresh password.
4. Enrolment ID generated: The system creates a GOAPS ID in the format YYIIT followed by 7 digits. Note it immediately - lost IDs require a customer support ticket that takes 2 to 3 working days.
5. Application form:Three tabs (Personal & Communication; Qualifying Degree; Paper & Test Centres). Each tab saves on next-click; you can return to incomplete tabs later. Total time end to end is 30 to 45 minutes with documents ready.
